
Frigid air blowing over the Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic ocean has led to streams of snow developing over these waters. These so-called “snow streamers” have then swept over adjacent land areas, coating the Virginia Tidewater, North Carolina Outer Banks and extreme eastern Massachusetts.
